After university i am not quite yet at the point of knowing which area i would like to apply my skills to, i still feel like i have a little more time to put some thought into this. I know it is between doing gift or interior, i am just unsure which i adore more. I am aware that if i do decide to work for a company, i will use trend books to help decide what is next, but if my decision is to perhaps be a designer maker i am uncertain whether i would like to follow trends, i like the idea of being able to to just source inspiration at any point of the day from perhaps being on holiday and being able to apply this into my work, just using my creativity.

what this website offers: This website is so helpful if you are fashion based looking for inspiration. the website is full of back dated runway shows and old articles aswell as up to date. You can find out the latest parties and what people were wearing and peoples views. It is full of information about what is the latest trend in fashion via reviews and also videos, people doing interviews etc. there is also an option to order a magazine which keep you up to date for every season.
Favourite find:
I adore Preen's Spring 2014 ready to wear by Thornton Bregazzi, the geometric shapes combined with the bright colours, florals and digital print is beautiful. This collection has really inspired me, i will use this in my studio work as inspiration as i am currently doing digital applications.

what this trend company offers: This magazine offers readers to view the upcoming trends over a year in advanve by describing their atmosphere, colour, visually showing what the trend consists of. there is also a website which you can subscribe to online which gives you access to even more information such as pre collections, lookbooks, information on catwalks and fairs and the latest news.

These earing's designed by Dori Csengeri are so beautiful, the detail and the dimensions of them really catch my eye. The colours of the fine stones and crystals are really inspiring, i might use these as colour inspiration for a future project.
